Delphine du Tout coaching, mediation, facilitation

About Me

I bring decades of experience guiding individuals, families, and organizations through difficult conversations. With a Master’s in Social Work and certifications in mediation and professional coaching, my work blends practical skill with deep respect for human relationships

Whether it’s within families, workplaces, or community organizations, I believe that conflict, when handled well, can lead to clarity, growth, and stronger bonds.

For over 25 years, I worked at the intersection of adult learning, organizational development, culture change, and labour relations, both in corporate environments and as a consultant across industries. Those experiences taught me how organizations really function: the formal structures, the informal dynamics, and the hidden tensions that can stall progress. Today, I bring that depth to mediation, coaching, and facilitation, supporting my clients in creating solutions that produce better employee engagement (your people enjoy coming to work and working together), driving the results expected of them.  (And going the extra mile when it’s called for!)

Some people meet me at critical moments of conflict, but just as often we meet when they’re ready to grow, to realign, or to find a healthier way of working together.

Conflict resolution, cultural competence, and organizational development aren’t separate silos of my work – they’re interconnected pathways that help people move from confusion to clarity; from friction to flow. Fundamental requirements for organizations to be able to deliver on their promises.

About My Zebra Logo

  • Every organization, every team, and every family has its own unique pattern – its history, its culture, its dynamics. That’s why my work is never formulaic. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. My solutions are always tailored to the specific shape of the people and systems I’m working with.
  • Conflict, cultural tensions, or organizational misalignment may show up as one problem on the surface, but deeper issues are usually at play. My role is to help uncover those hidden dynamics – the root causes and the inherent strengths – so that solutions aren’t just quick fixes, but long-term transformations.

Those zebra stripes remind us that what we see at first glance may not be the whole story.

Reading between the lines helps us uncover the hidden dynamics, patterns, and opportunities that we can use to resolve disagreements and to continue learn things that improve how we live and work together.

Not everything is as it seems, and the solutions you’re searching for might be hiding in plain sight. Together, we’ll bring clarity to complexity, reveal the unseen, and chart a path to meaningful, sustainable success.

Let’s explore the shadows between the stripes together.

If you’re ready to find clarity, resolve challenges, or build something better, let’s start the conversation.

I’d love to explore how we can work together to create the positive, lasting change you’ve been dreaming about.

What Clients Say

“Delphine is amazing. Her ability to connect on a personal level, coach and guide in a way so effective it feels like you’re chatting with a close friend. Her flexible approach allowed me to open up and be super vulnerable, which she also mirrored so that I was more comfortable doing so. Speaking with her was one of the places I felt 100% safe to share exactly what I was going through and the progress I got out of doing so, while immeasurable, is one of the most valuable things I gained from this journey.” Participant in an 18-month leadership journey offered by Gaia-INSIGHTS

"We all have baggage, but growing up in South Africa gifts anyone from there with a special type of baggage. I’ve had to confront my white privilege, white guilt and the reality that those two things are very different between Canada and South Africa. In Canada minorities are struggling for equality and to find a voice, ironically it’s the same way white people feel in South Africa. But unlike being a minority in Canada, very few believe a white South African when we speak the truth. Of those few that do some say we deserve it, despite contractual promises being made to end apartheid by the ANC and IFP to treat whites fairly signed into law for equality…. promises never kept, much like the native treaties in Canada were never upheld. The lack of equality has made me very angry and something I need help to let go. Delphine has helped me admit I had a little racism I had to be honest about and address, how to see things from the Canadian perspective and change my choice of words and to be realistic and make peace with some topics that they will never be understood and to stay away from. Most of all we South Africans are fighters. I feel like I ran away from South Africa and didn’t stay to fight for the country I love, Delphine is helping me to forgive myself, and most of all she truly understands who I am, where I am from, and therefore how I am going to get where I’m going."

“I enjoyed the conversations I was able to have with people I don’t normally talk to. I have never experienced being listened to, and really HEARD, such as I experienced at our culture/values conference that Delphine designed and facilitated. The overall level of participation from the entire group was awesome and I believe is going to make a difference to our culture aleady, even though there’s still some other processes to go through.”
